Ouch.

Bad. Awful. Terrible. Embarrassing. Pathetic. Infuriating.
These, and many words like them could be used to describe the Eagles' performance today.
I am very displeased. Though perhaps I shouldn't be surprised at this stage, I can scarcely believe that the Eagles frittered away such an impressive lead against such a mediocre team. EVERY single aspect of football was lacking on the Eagles' side of the ball today. Vick had a career day, but the constant errors and weaknesses destroyed any chance of a win. I think Tony's gonna win the win/loss bet. And that makes me mad.

As a painfully whipped icing on this cake of catastrophe, Tony wins our weekly bet as well. As stated previously, we all knew Frank Gore likely would outrun McCoy...but that was based on an assumption that both players would compete for most of the game. That did not happen, yet Gore still had more yards. Lots more yards. We didn't trip up Gore. We tripped on our gory selves. And fell down. And tripped again.

McCoy: 9 attempts for 18 yards.
Gore: 15 attempts for 127 yards.

This alone is worthy of shame. Gore crushed McCoy. But it's worse than the numbers suggest. McCoy played the ENTIRE DADGUM GAME. Gore, on the other hand sat out for NEARLY THE ENTIRE DADGUM GAME.

I was prepared to lose this bet. I said so in my initial post. But not like this. Not this way. Not in such a sad, pathetic, infuriating, excruciating way. It makes me want to weep. Seriously.
